Canadian Hairdresser is the largest industry professional publication in Canada. With both French and English copy in one magazine, we are also Canada’s only bilingual publication. Our primary focus is to create a visually appealing forum for dynamic photography from the world’s top stylists, informative features, news and product information and quality advertisements.
Each month, Canadian Hairdresser is distributed to 34,000 targeted outlets with true buying power. A total of 30,520 single issues reach fashion-forward salon owners and managers, while an additional 3,480 issues reach industry distributors and manufacturers.
Canadian Hairdresser reaches one-third more salons than our nearest competitor, guaranteeing greater market penetration. Canadian Hairdresser is incredibly well-read. On average, each copy of our magazine is read by 60 people in every salon. Canadian Hairdresser ’s coffee table-friendly format means a strong consumer shelf life for your advertising, as issues are read by clients waiting in the reception areas of Canada’s most elite salons.
Aside from our editorial mission, Canadian Hairdresser is dedicated to fostering Canadian talent. Each year, the magazine presents 15 up and-coming stylists with the Canadian Hairdresser Youth Initiative Scholarship, to be used toward higher education. The Canadian Hairdresser Magazine Mirror Awards, the most coveted annual hairstyling competition, draws entries from top national and inter-national talent. Canadian Hairdresser is also environmentally-driven, and is printed only on 100 percent recycled paper.
