“How to Look Good Naked” is helping women everywhere feel good about their bodies

In a society where so few of us are happy with our bodies a show like “How to Look Good Naked” is a welcome change. The show claims that four out of five women aren’t happy with their bodies and that scary statistic is enough to make anyone banish fashion magazines from their home. Skinny minis to women with killer curves have body image problems and Carson Kressley (host and former “Queer Eye For The Straight Guy” alum) has gone on a crusade to change the way women feel about their bodies - one person at a time.

This remake of the popular British show (by the same name) airs on Lifetime. It is focused on making women feel good about their bodies - lumpy bits and all. The transformation takes place with an introduction to proper fitting underwear and clothes that flatter the figure, a hair and makeup application and glamorous photo shoot and lots of positive reinforcement.

With honest intentions, each 30-minute episode leaves viewers and participants feeling good about themselves. It puts the message out there that you don’t need to be a size zero or constantly on a diet to love yourself.
